The site is located 25 km away  from Amman contains a  several  buildings dating back to the Umayyad period: the  palace  construction dates back to the reign of Yazid II bin Abd al-Malik, has a square shaped plan  and Its four corners are surrounded by semi-circular towers , On the front of the entrance there are carved decorations .
The housing units consisted of a courtyard surrounded by four room .
The palace was re-used in the Ayyubid and Mamluk periods.
The mosque, It is located to the north of the palace, in front of it is a rectangular courtyard.
The most important characteristic is the minaret with a height of 6 meters and a spiral staircase To the east of the palace there is a sophisticated water collection system that includes an impenetrable dam with 400 long meter and its width about 4 meter ,In addition to a number of wells scattered around the palace.
In addition to a bathroom building was discovered with a mosaic panel.
