Al Mu’alaqa Cave image
This site is located near the town of Iraq Al-Amir, west of the capital Amman. It is a building carved out of the rock and consists of three floors. From Inside, the walls are decorated with 2,300 carved out triangular on three levels, that may have been used to preserve the remains of monks. It dates back to the Hellenistic and Roman period.
